The inaugural Abia State Governor’s NALCOMA Pre-Season Tournament is set to begin in Aba, Abia State. This tournament aims to help Nigerian National League teams in the South East prepare for the upcoming league season starting on November 30, 2024.

The opening match will feature Abia Comets from Umuahia against Edel FC from Awka, scheduled for 9 AM at Enyimba Stadium in Aba. Following that, Solution FC of Awka will face Kun Khalifa from Owerri at 11 AM.

Chief Boniface Alozie Uche, NALCOMA representative on the Nigeria National League Board, expressed gratitude to Governor Alex Otti for his support in providing opportunities for the youth to hone their football skills. He noted that this tournament will become an annual event, designed to equip teams for the challenges of the league.

On the second day, Diamond Academy of Umuahia will compete against Solution FC at 9 AM, while Edel FC will take on Uchecaria at 11 AM.
