Abia Comets Football Club will take part in the Abia State Governor’s NALCOMA Pre-Season Tournament, starting on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.

The tournament will feature eight professional football clubs from the South-East and South-South geopolitical zones.

The Umuahia-based team will compete alongside fellow Nigeria National League (NNL) clubs, including Edel FC (Awka), Abakaliki FC (Abakaliki), Kun Khalifat FC (Owerri), and Godswill Akpabio FC (Uyo), as well as Solutions FC (Awka). Two amateur teams, Diamond Academy (Umuahia) and Ahudia Nnem FC (Aba), will also join the four-day event, which concludes on Thursday, November 7, 2024.

This tournament presents an excellent opportunity for all teams to continue their preparations ahead of the 2024/25 NNL season, set to begin on November 30, 2024.
