*Abaji Football Coaches Unity Play-Off Tournament Kicks Off on April 6*

The stage is set for the 7th edition of the Abaji Football Coaches Unity Play-Off Tournament, scheduled to commence on April 6, 2025. The competition will feature 20 native teams, with the opening match pitting All Stars FC against newcomers Halwings FC.

In a press briefing, Coaches Leader Sulaiman Alhaji Ibrahim outlined the preparations and arrangements made for the tournament. He revealed that the competition will be a knockout format, with each match requiring a winner. The teams have been paired based on native club rankings, with the top 10 teams in "Pot A" facing off against the remaining 10 teams in "Pot B".

The tournament will take place at the Abaji Central Primary School playing ground, with arrangements in place for medics, referees, security, and media coverage. A Man of the Match Certificate will be awarded after each fixture.
