A&A Kiviasennus Cry Foul Over Handling Matches At NLO Playoffs

A&A Kiviasennus FC have raised concerns over the the of officiating their matchday two fixture against Ozalla Football Academy on Wednesday in ongoing NLO playoffs at the Awka City Stadium, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
The club raged with fury, claiming that the poor handling of the match was reason they lost 5-4 in the nine-goal thriller.
"The red card given to our left winger was not fair at all. He didn't go hard on the defender. Besides, the worst could have been a yellow card and never, ever red card offence at all.
"Ozalla had mere equalised at 2-2 then and had just scored their third goal before the red card incident. From then on, we played with 10 men.
"As if that was not enough Injustice, their goalkeeper took down our goal-bound attacker which could have been a penalty and possibly, too, a red card. But the referee ignored it.
"Scores at that point was 5-4 and had he given us that penalty, perhaps, it would have been 5-5. We're shocked why he didn't award it", A&A Kiviasennus Assistant Coach fumed after the game.
A&A we're so furious over the two major talking points in the game that they almost abandoned the game.
"Our happiness is that people have seen the quality of our team. This is a match we would have clearly won if not for bad officiating", he added.
The 5-4 defeat means A&A have lost their first two group games and faces the risk of elimination in the playoffs.
"It's so painful. It's sad but we'll continue to push. We'll keep working hard and ensure we made amends in the coming games. We still have about four matches and anything can still happen".
