The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially released the final round fixtures for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers. With 12 high-stakes matchups lined up, the continent’s top women’s national teams are set to battle for a place in the prestigious continental tournament — and ultimately, a ticket to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.

 

The final qualifying matches will take place between 20th and 28th October 2025, with each tie to be played over two legs — home and away.

 

Nigeria’s Super Falcons, record WAFCON champions, will begin their qualification journey away from home as they face Benin Republic in the first leg. Nigeria will then return home to host the second leg, with the aggregate winner progressing to the tournament finals.
