Day 2 of the 2025 Super Cup in Abuja delivered another round of impressive performances, with teams in both the men’s and women’s categories asserting their dominance on the court.

 

In the women’s category, Nigeria Customs Service recorded a comfortable 3–0 victory over Fire Service, cruising through the encounter with set scores of 25–10, 25–11 and 25–20.

 

Also in the women’s event, CNS Spikers showed resilience and quality as they came from a set down to defeat Vipers VC 3–1. After losing the first set 22–25, CNS Spikers rallied to take the next three sets 25–23, 25–18 and 25–12.

 

The men’s matches followed a similar pattern of dominance. CNS Spikers claimed a straight-sets win over Ajase Ipo, recording a 3–0 victory with set scores of 25–21, 25–10 and 25–17.

 

In the final match of the day, Nigeria Customs Service defeated Defence Spikers 3–0 in a keenly contested encounter. Customs won the sets 25–20, 27–25 and 25–20 to maintain their strong run in the competition.

 

With two days of action completed, the 2025 Super Cup continues to gather momentum as teams intensify their push for honours in Abuja.
