20 Eagles Begin Training Ahead Libya AFCON Clash; Iheanacho, Ejiuke, Bright Osayi Samuel In Wednesday
Twenty Super Eagles players commenced training on Tuesday evening ahead Friday's AFCON qualifier against Libya under Augustine 'Cerezo' Eguavoen's supervision, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
The training centered more on fitness with 35 minutes ball work.
Four players, Kelechi Iheanacho, Chidera Ejiuke, both of Sevilla of Spain, and Bright Osayi Samuel of Fenerbahce of Turkey were not part of Tuesday's opening training because they were yet to arrive camp.
But team officials reveal that the trio are expected to hit camp on Wednesday.
Coordinator of the team, Patrick Paschal, MON, confirmed that the trio are due in camp on Wednesday.
The team will hold its first Media Chat 12 noon on Wednesday at the team's Hotel camp, Four Point Hotel, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.
