Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has named Burna Boy as the country's current leading artist.
In a recent interview with Urban FM, Enugu, the "African Queen" singer praised Burna Boy, referring to him as the "senior" and leader of the current generation of Nigerian musicians.
"On a personal level, Burna Boy is my number one," 2Baba said. "Although I still have other artists that I admire, but personally as an artist, Burna Boy is my number one right now. Among all the others I am referring to, he is the senior."
He added that while there are other rising artists, he believes Burna Boy's influence and position are currently unmatched.
