AWFC Media: Goodmorning Adekunle David Adeleke.
 
Adeleke: Goodmorning Oga Media (Smiles)
 
AWFC Media: Can we know Who is Adeleke Adekunle ?
 
Adeleke: (Smiles) Nothing much about me, am just a jovial dude who loves football with passion and I am a defender with Abia Warriors football club. 
 
Awfc Media: Can we know your date, month and year of Birth?
 
Adeleke: I was born on the 27th day of April 1998. (27-04-1998)
 
Awfc Media: Your Nationality?
Adeleke: I am a Nigerian.
 
Awfc Media: What’s your Religion,?
 
Adeleke: I am a Christian and Proudly a lover of  God.
 
Awfc Media: Which Club is your favourite Clubside in Europe and give us reasons why you chose to be a fan of the club.
 
Adeleke: (giggles) My favourite is REAL MADRID because they are the most successful club in the history of football in terms of number of laurels won and their consistency in Spanish La Liga speaks much of the club’s pedigree. 
 
Awfc Media: Can we know your memorable Happy and Sad moment?
 
Adelek: My Happiest moment was when I signed for Abia Warriors and Sad moment was when my former Club Go Round FC  got relegated .
 
Awfc Media: What was your experience when you made it to the U17 and to U20.
 
Adeleke: Every moment and experience will forever remain indeliable in my heart and that opportunity is one every football will wish for. It was really a good time and am happy every of my teammate then are doing pretty well, those Outside the country, as well as the NPFL.
 
Awfc Media: Were your parents supportive when you opted for a carrer in football?
 
Adeleke: Just like every other African parents, they were not supportive at first but when I insisted in what I wanted, they had no choice than to support me and they are very much proud of me now.
 
Awfc Media: Learnt you once went for a trial in Israeli league, What were your experience?
 
Adeleke: Hmmmm! It was an eye opener for me and it was unfortunate that the deal fell by the side but I know what the future holds will be consoling.
 
Awfc Media: Which Position is your most preferred  on the field of play. 
 
Adeleke: I am a defender and I can play any wing when it comes to all the positions in the backline and I can as well play as a defensive midfielder. 
 
Awfc Media: So what’s your nickname?
 
Adeleke: Am popularly known as RAMOS amongst my teammates, ex teammates and everyone in the football circle. I was nicknamed Ramos because I  modeled my game towards the way the Spanish and Real Madrid skipper plays.
 
Awfc Media: So, as a defender what are the assets that makes you unique?
 
Adeleke:  My work rate, composure, pace and ability to effortlessly  win tackles are all qualities attributed to me.
 
Awfc Media: So which player can you liken your pattern of play to?
 
Adeleke: Brazilian born Defender Thiago Silva is my role model. He is one of the best defenders in the game of football because he posses all that is required to be a good defender in the present day football era. He is always calm and very calculative in his defensive duties.
 
Awfc Media:Which of the goals scored in your career would you rate as your best goal scored?
 
Adeleke: Every goal I score is so much a memorable one because I rarely scores, so all the goals I have scored are all the best.
 
Awfc Media: Which player can you rate as the best player you ever played with?
 
Adeleke: Sadiq Rilwan! I enjoyed every bit of my playing time with the dude in Go Round. He is a player who makes matches easy for the team as he plays out his life in every game. He is now with Sunshine Stars of Akure.
 
Awfc Media: Which player do you regard as the toughest opponent you ever played against .
 
Adeleke: I give it up to Ndifreke Effiong. He is always a nightmare and a problem to me anytime we play against Abia Warriors then. He is very strong, quick and has pace so it is not easy to stop him although I would always try my best in marking him.
 
Awfc Media: Favourite Abia Warriors player?
 
Adeleke: Asiegbu Shedrack! I admire his style of play, a very crafty player and his passes are great. I enjoy playing with him in training and matches.
 
Awfc Media: Which club was your first Professiobal club.
 
Adeleke: As Racine.
 
Awfc Media: How has your stay in Abia Warriors been.
 
Adeleke: It has been cool and fun, Abia Warriors is a big family and the love amongst the squad is enviable.
 
Awfc Media: Whats your plans outside football,?
 
Adeleke: I pray to make it to the peak my career and always be in a position to help the needy. 
 
Awfc Media: What are your advice to young footballers?
 
Adeleke: There is no short cut to greatness and to always be the best, extra work is required. Always live a ‘ready life’ and always aim higher.
