Former NFF President Hail Sports Minister For Reactivating National Principal’s Cup

The Former President of the Nigeria Football Federation and Proprietor of Fosla Academy ,Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi has commended the Minister of Youth and Sports ,Chief Sunday Dare for reactivating the National Principal’s cup.

Lulu, who spoke at the reception organised for the Academy by Emir of Karshi, Alhaji Ismaila Mohammed said this momentous occasion would not have been possible if not for the minister who made it a priority to bring back the championship that has been in comatose for many decades.

“I want to thank the Minister of Youth and Sports Chief Sunday Dare for deeming it fit to bring back this competition after many decades of inactivity, this championship has given us the recognition we deserved after many close shave at the All Nigeria Secondary school Tournament (Shell cup) and other competitions we have attended”

Lulu went ahead to thank the Emir of Karshi, Alhaji Ismaila Mohammed and the entire Karshi community who has taken the school as their own and has created an enabling environment for the school to thrive.

Fosla Academy was established in 2010 with main objective of giving children that are naturally endowed in the game of football the opportunity of combining their education with sports. The Academy since established, has provided scholarship to over 80 students, many of whom are now studying various academic courses at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
