July 23 01:57 2020

Former member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Prince Nicholas Chukwujekwu Ukachukwu has, along with his aides reportedly assaulted some of his numerous creditors over unpaid debts that had lasted for over five years, exclusivenews.com.ng gathers.

The contractors who had gone in solidarity to the corporate office of Good Homes Development Company LTD, the indebted company of the politician turned pastor, were ordered to be beaten up by his bodyguards and some of his aides who are men on the Nigerian Police Force.

One of the contractors, Mrs Blessing Nkwocha (pictured above), who was the most hit and is currently receiving treatment at the National Trauma Center of the National Hospital Abuja, stated that the attack on them by the former lawmaker and his men were premeditated, adding that the Group Managing Director of Good Homes, Mr. Dan Nwokedi had earlier threatened them that his boss (Ukachukwu) would unleash mayhem on them if they come requesting for their entitlements.

She said: “we have always gone to the office of Good Homes to request that they pay us for the job done, that has lasted for about five years now.

“His GMD had earlier threatened us that his boss was determined to get physical with us, should we make any request or reminder of the debt they’re owing several contractors which runs into hundreds of millions.

“We only requested that they pay us our money, that it is long over due, and he attacked me physically, ordering his men to make sure we don’t leave the premises unscathed.

“They seized our phones, to ensure that all evidences of their brutality on us don’t get to the world.

Mr. Idris Perkins, one of the contractors who was also mal handled, and his phones seized said: “it is surprising that at this age we’re in, such a man would stoop so low as to attacking his creditors just because they requested that they get paid.

“We have been coming here as a group to remind him that we used our resources to work for him, and that he should pay us.

“His brutality alongside that of his Police security details, was what really shocked me.

“We appeal to the authorities to please give us justice; such dehumanization can not be happening in this country at a time like this.

It would be recalled that in 2016, a video of a man who stripped himself naked and cursing in front of Prince Ukachukwu’s house, went viral. The said man was demanding for his remuneration of about N35m for a job done for the politician.

As as the time of this report, neither Prince Ukachukwu nor any of his aides was willing to grant audience to the press men at the scene of the incident.

The matter has since been reported to the relevant authorities for investigation.
