PERFECTING HOLINESS
TEXT: 2 Corinthians 7:1
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
What promises ?…. 2conrithian6:16-18 and other Scripture passages where you find the words ”I Will ”…. I see this as the Lord’s promises of the Bible .When Apostle Paul wrote he was actually writing from the entire book of the Bible old or new testament and speaking to you and I or people who believed in God word as well as received Jesus Christ I mean” Born again” this text shows that we have a responsibility to, and we must participate in the purification of our lives even though we are giving right as sons and daughters of God, for salvation is free but it cost maintenance to sustain it, hence filthiness therefore for us to fulfill God’s mandate In our lives we must live up to his standard that is upright.

1 Relationship with the world
2 Our Faith ( What we believe)
3 Our body ( flesh) .
When we read the Scripture above 2conrinthian 6:16-end you’ll see that it is God perquisites of receiving us , meaning how he will want to pure out himself through us, if we must serve,worship, do his works In any area of life; we must do the needful remember it’s not the works of your righteousness but by Grace you were saved.
Some points of maintenance:
*Read the Bible meditatively and
Pray
*Praying in the Holy ghost
*Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ
- Confession of fault
- living in love with others and
- Full obedience to God his word and the Holy Spirit… Amen.
