“We Are Committed To The Fosla Project”… Lulu

Former NFF President Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi has reiterated his commitment towards ensuring that FOSLA Academy continue to produce an all round students that will excel both in Academics and Football.

Speaking at the backdrop of the 3rd Graduation ceremony of the School held at the weekend, the former FCT Director of Sports, who is an APC gubernatorial candidate in the Kogi State 2019 elections, said his political ambitions does not have effect on the structures of the Academy.

Quoting his words, the Omachi Atah Igala said “FOSLA Academy has been properly structured that it can exist without anyone of us. The Academy cannot deviate from its master plan which will take almost 25 years to fully actualize. I am only a Proprietor of the School, there is a Management Board of the School that formulate policies and ensure its implementation. We are well structured, that my absence will have little or no effect on the day to day running of the School “.

Lulu was full of appreciation to Nigerians for embracing the FOSLA project saying that its aimed at ensuring that students are provided a conducive environment to study and perfect their skills in the game of football.

The frontline administrator turned politician was elated with the graduation of the 30 students (15 from SS 3 and 15 from JSS 3) said the SS 3 students did excellently well in their UTME examination, while expressing confidence that they will perform optimally in the Senior Secondary school examinations to enable join their predecessors in the University.

“the good thing is that we were able to graduate about four girls in the Junior class. Hopefully, by September they will continue for the senior class”.

It was further gathered that 90 percent of the graduating students are all on the Academy ‘s scholarship which will take them to the University. Over 30 scholarship students from the Academy are presently at the Nasarawa University, Keffi where they continue to enjoy their scholarship.
