Ugwu assures On Victory Over Invading Pelican

Coach Benedict Ugwu of Rangers International F.C of Enugu, Nigeria’
surviving team in Total/CAF Confederation cup 2019/2020, has assured
millions of the club’ supporters of a re-sounding victory over
visiting A.S Pelican of Gabon in the second leg, first round encounter
slated for Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Enugu.

The former Super Eagles defense Trojan gave this assurance, Thursday
after one of his team; training sessions stressing that the level of
intensive sessions have tuned the players to the level they need to be
to conquer.

“No doubt, we lost the first leg in Libreville but with what we have
been doing since our return, I can assure that we are good to go for a
win that will qualify us for the next round. Let our fans come out in
their numbers on Sunday, September 29, 2019 to cheer us to victory,”
stated the former continental champion with defunct, BCC Lions F.C of
Gboko.

Rangers will trade tackles with continental first timers, A.S Pelican
of Gabon at ‘The Cathedral’, Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Enugu, on
September 29, 2019, seeking to upturn the 2-1 first leg loss and book
a place in the play-off round for a chance of a consecutive group
