Former Rivers Angels midfielder and the latest export from the NWPL to the Spanish liga Peace Ewomazino Efih arrived Spain on the 3rd of August 2019 having penned a 1 year deal with sporting club de Huelva. Peace one of the few players who has had a compact stay in the NWPL playing for only Edo Queens and a short cameo AITEO appearance for Rivers Angels at the beginning of this new season before her movement to Spain spoke exclusively to tobexSports.

“My target is to improve my game and score goals for my team, as a midfielder it is imperative to create chances for my team mates and also score myself when the opportunity comes”.

She further explained that showcasing one’ talent by churning out good display on the pitch of play is the only advertisement a player can give herself.
” My message for the talented players at home is for them to keep working hard, put God first, make every opportunity count, be disciplined and focused”

The newly signed player who was assigned jersey no 20 was full of encouraging words for the players back home in Nigeria.

The midfielder was part of Nigeria’ U20 women’s team that got to the round of 16 under coach Christopher Danjuma at the FIFA U20 women’s world cup in France in 2018.
She was also part of the victorious home based Super Falcons players captained by her former team mate Evelyn Nwabuoku in Côte d ivoire at the women’ WAFU cup defeating the hosts in May this year.
Peace hopes that Nigerian players presence with good performance will open wider doors for the NWPL players to explore in Spain.
