Former Flying Eagles coach, John Obuh has joined the teeming progressive Abians to drum support for the candidate of Labour Party, Dr. Alex Otti in Saturday’s Gubernatorial elections.

Coach Obuh is a household in Nigeria and abroad. Born in Ndi Uduma Awoke in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State has more than 25 years of coaching experience, having worked with top Nigerian club sides like Enugu Rangers, Sharks of Portharcout, Niger Tornadoes, Kwara Utd, Akwa Utd to mention but few.

The former Concord of Abeokuta player distinguished himself as coach of the flying Eagles between 2010 and 2013 to global reconning. Prior to that, he nurtured the Golden Eaglets to win the converted FIFA Fair Play Award of the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup where Nigeria finished 2nd behind Switzerland.

Coach Obuh who believes in the emancipation of Abians given the fact that the State is based around the production of crude oil and blessed with natural gas alongside agriculture which is the major occupation of Abia indigenes is in dire need of a visionary leader and His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti fits in perfectly as the visionary man to lead and navigate our Great State to global reconning. The task of repositioning the dwindling fortunes of a State blessed with milk and honey cannot be better managed than His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, a renowned politician, an economist, a banker, investor and philanthropist. His Excellency track record in the banking industry spanning over 30 years, having worked in Intercontinental bank, Merchant bank, UBA, First Bank before he retired in 2014 as group managing director of Diamond bank is a man that has been tested and trusted.
