Madagascar Scales Over DR Congo

Debutante Madagascar who were conquerors of Nigeria at the cup of nations have qualified for the quarterfinal beating Congo via penalties.
Madagascar scored four of the kicks while Congo scored two big thanks to the goalkeeper of Madagascar who should be awarded the most valuable player of the match.
The match ended 2-2 after 120′ with goals from Amada 9′ (Mad); Bekambu 21′ (Cog); Andriatsima 77′ (Mad) and Memba 90′ (Cog).
Madagascar stands by to meet the winner between Ghana and Tunisia in the quarters on Thursday 11th July.
