Former NFF President Sani Lulu Abdullahi on Friday continued his town hall meeting with various APC stakeholders in the local government areas of Kogi State.
The team rounded up the meetings with visits to Yagba West, Ijumu and Mopa Muro LGA’s
At Mopa Muro LGA, Lulu was received by the APC chairman in the LGA, Mr Abiodun Owolaye and Mrs Titilayo, the Woman leader of the party. The aspirant appreciated the stakeholders in the LGA for receiving him in their domain, promising to ensure that they are carried along in running the affairs of the State if elected as Governor of Kogi State. He told the party members that the time has come for them to enjoy the dividend of democracy.
At Yagba West, the Major Jimoh (Rtd) led executive of the party, received Lulu and his team with pomp and celebration as drummers and dancers entertained them. An excited Alhaji Sani Lulu reiterated his commitment to serve the State diligently and appealed for their support in the forthcoming State governorship primary election. At Mopa Muro, HRH Oba Joledo, Elulu of Mopa Muro ably represented by his second in command received the aspirant in his palace. The excited paramount leader extolled the qualities of Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi in his activities and promised to mobilize the APC party members for his interest.
It was fun when the representative of the Oba took time to recall how he excelled in football during his youthful days. He said he once played for Niger Tonadoes FC of Minna, Octopus FC of Jos and was one time Captain of the Nigerian Army FC.
