The Joint Investigation Panel set up to unravel the murder of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, has presented its findings and paraded suspects in the case.
15 out of the twenty suspects were paraded at the Defence Headquarters Garrison in Abuja.
Chairman of the investigation panel, Major General Bamidele Shafa said the the team found that his murder purely criminal.
Shafa said one Alhaji Maube Gaini was allegedly the mastermind of the attack, and he gathered other people to assist him in an operation to rob Badeh, who was described as a wealthy man who owned a farm around Panda area.
The arrested persons are to undergo prosecution.
The investigation panel was made up of members drawn from the Army, Air Force, Navy, Police and DSS and an Attorney, under supervision of the Defence Intelligence Agency.
Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh was killed on 18th December, 2018.
