Infrastructure Devt: VP, Osibanjo Commissions Road Projects in Delta Creeks

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has commissioned two multi millionaire road projects, of three phases, built and completed by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s led administration in the Creeks of Delta.
Starting from the 20.29km Obotobo one and two, Sokebolou Yokri Road, Ogulagha, which was his first port of call in the state,Vice President Osibanjo was impressed with the work that had been done by the state government and he voiced his opinion.

Vice president Osibanjo,who paid a second official visit to the creeks of Delta,also paid a courtesy call on the kings of Gbaramatu and Ogulagha Kingdoms.

Reacting to the governor’s achievements,Traditional rulers and the indigenes of the areas say despite great contributions to the economy of the country, the area had suffered total neglect from government at all levels, until Governor Okowa came to their aids.

Governor Okowa in his speech disclosed that the Vice President was invited to commission the projects because,he visited the creeks in the pursuit of peace and the enabling environment for oil and gas production.

The vice president also commissioned the newly constructed 650 housing unit at Issele-Azagba, Aniocha North LGA of the State.
