Veteran journalist, Moses Etu, a former Chairman of Warri Wolves FC, has been appointed as Senior Special Assistant on Sports by the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
Etu had also previously managed Delta Force FC which was equally sponsored and funded by the Delta State Government.
The latest appointment comes on the heels of his good performance during the concluded National Sports Festival in Asaba.
Etu was a member of the Infrastructure Committee of the Local Organising Committee, LOC.
A graduate of English Language, Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ife, Etu is expected to assume office immediately according to his letter of appointment.
The two-time chairman of Warri Wolves, Etu led the Seasiders to NPFL promotion in the 2019/2020 season, having started his career as a Media Officer of the club.
