Nigeria and Cameroon have sealed round of 16 ticket after Chile failed to beat thailand by more that two goals while Cameroon defeated New Zealand by two goal to one to qualify.
Nigerians have been praying with the hope that any of Cameroon or new Zealand would falter but it was to no avail as Cameroon beat new Zealand 2-1
In the other match Nigeria needed Chile not score more than 2 goal which they did not though they lost a penalty in the 86 minute which would have given them a lifeline .
Nigeria will now face Germany in the round of 16 while Cameroon face England
