A one time joint highest goal scorer in the Nigerian Women Premier League Charity Chetachukwu Ruben who plays for BiiK Kazygurt in Kazakhstan has promised that she would soon be back to the Senior National Team.

Speaking exclusively with exclusivenews.com.ng from her base, the former Bayelsa Queens goals Queen Said she was quite happy with her form in her new club and hopes to be noticed by the handlers of the Super Falcons having paid her dues in the U20 team.
” My team tops the log table here, we are also playing in the champions league.
I have scored 5 goals so far”.

She further explained that she is at ease with goal scoring.
” My records speak for me in the NWPL. In 2017 I scored 9 goals with Ibom Angels in an abridged league although I was surprised to be told it was 8 goals and awarded as a joint highest scorer with Ajibade.
I shrugged that disappointment off then moved to Bayelsa Queens mid season the following year where I registered 5 goals and won the league title with them”.

Her sojourn in the national team has been bitter sweet memory.
“I played in the national U20 team at the world cup in Papua New Guinea in 2016, I also scored some vital goals during the qualifiers that qualified the same U20 team for the world cup in France in 2018 but unfortunately I was dropped and didn’t make the final list for France”.

Explaining further, she mentioned that her movement to BiiK Kazygurt early in 2019 has propped her to showcase her skills and goal scoring ability to the world via the champion league and a standard league.
“I will certainly bounce back with the Super Falcons” she maintained.
