Federation Cup : Rivers Angels Battles Nasarawa United, As Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens Settle Scores

Rivers Angels will play Nasarawa Amazons in the Semi finals for a place in the Finals of this year’s Federation Cup at the Akure Township Stadium,Akure,Ondo State on Friday, while Bayelsa Queens and Edo Queens will settle for a place in the Finals.

While answering questions from journalists after the quarter finals game win over Delta Queens,Head Coach of the team,Edwin Okon is confident his team will go all the way to lift the trophy.After their hard fought victory over in form Delta through penalties after a goalless regulation time ,Coach Okon said his team should not be written off and that his girls are ready for the challenge they will face in the remaining games.

In the other semi finals fixture,Edo Queens and Bayelsa Queens will slug it out for a place in the Finals at the Awka Township Stadium,Anambra State by 4pm.
