Chikelue Iloenyosi, Chairman of Anambra State Football Association has rewarded a ‘Super Football Fan’ in the state, Chukwudi Alamefuna, popularly known as ‘Mojolistic’ for his loyalty and passion for the game by placing him on monthly salary.
Iloenyosi paid glowing tribute to ‘Mojo’ for his dedication to football in the state.
‘General’ Iloenyosi noted that since he took over as FA Chairman, ‘Mojo’ has not missed even a single match at the stadium.
“It surprises me how he gets information about games at the stadium”, Iloenyosi said.
“I am not sure if he has missed any game at all– AIFL, Rangers and Edel home games and even the state FA Cup matches, the ongoing BrainBox League and NLO playoff games he has been ever present.
“So, it only makes sense that I reward his passion with a monthly stipend that will always go to his mom.
” This way, I believe, he will feel part of this administration”.
It was an emotional moment when the mother of ‘Mojolistic’, Mrs Uremma Alamefuna, with joy thanked and prayed for the FA Chairman for thinking towards his son.
She narrated the upbringing of Mojolistic and how the wife of his son left him ‘and since then, the responsibility of taking care of the him has been on me’.
She said the FA Boss’s gesture will go a long way in helping her cater for her son going forward.
