Super Eagles and Delta Force goalkeeper,Chigozie Agbim has posited that Ikechukwu Ezinwa deserves respect from Nigerians .
Agbim who was in Abuja for AITEO cup match between Delta Force and Walli Flamingoes said Ikechukwu came to the rescue of the National team when there was no goalkeeper for the National team following retirement of Vincent Enyeama and he ensured that Nigeria qualify for the Nations Cup and World Cup.
‘He deserves to be treated with respect because he came to our rescue when we had no option in between the sticks’
He went further by saying ‘If Ezenwa is given the opportunity he will perform wonder because right now he is the best in the league’
Agbim joined delta force in 2018/2019 season after the expiration of his contract with Gombe United and he ensured that the team was not be relegated at the end of the season
During the season he made some wonderful saves that kept the team in the league and he hopes to lead the team to glory this season in the Federation Cup and next season in the league.
