A tragedy nearly struck students of the University of Energy and Natural Resources during a trip to Kumasi after their bus completely got engulfed in fire.

The bus, which was carrying a yet to be ascertained number of students, caught fire during the journey from Sunyani to Kumasi.

Students of the University take periodic trips to KNUST to engage in practical work, but this trip nearly turned deadly.

Luckily, no student lost his life
