Ekiti State is agog and buzzing with untold excitements as the final of the 2023 edition of the Bet9ja Ekiti football league Holds today, Saturday, at the Oluyemi Kayode stadium, Ado-Ekiti.
The Bet9ja Ekiti football league which has in recent times been rated as the best organised grassroots football championship in Nigeria, like honey to the bees, has equally attracted top football personalities, who are ready in Ado-Ekiti.
They include the Chairman of Osun State Football Association, Chief Razak Ishola, the Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria Nationwide League One, Sola Ogunowo, Ex-Nigeria International and LaLiga Ambassador, Mutiu Adepoju, MON.
Others are Chairman of Ibadan Football Association, Barr. Rotimi Alli, LaLiga’s representative in Nigeria/Ghana, Ayodeji Adegbenro, high – flying sports journalist Tobi Adepoju, Tunde Akinbinu, board member of Ondo State Football Association, as well as, Owolabi Mustapha of MaxxConnection.
Speaking ahead of the final match that would be played between Rajjy FC and Are FC, the Chairman of Ekiti State Football Association, Bayo Olanlege expressed his appreciation to KC Gamings PLC, the parent company of the title sponsor of the state league, Bet9ja, for their laudable investment in the development of football in the state, as well as, sustaining its sponsorship of the championship in the last four years.
