Desert Warriors of Algeria goes into the semifinal of the cup of nations for the 7th time after beating Ivory Coast 4-3 on penalties as the match ended 1-1 after extra time.
Ivorian captain and Bony Wilfred had lost their kicks giving the Desert Warriors the fillip to appear against Super Eagles of Nigeria in the semifinal on Sunday at 8pm.
