Charity Adule was at weekend voted as the Most Valuable Player of her Spanish Women League team, Alhama .
Adule who arrived in Spain in September 2019 from Kazakstan side BIIK Kazygurt, where she spent four-years, winning four Kazakstani titles and also featured in the Champions League, scoring twice.
Her impressive showing in Alhama achievement saw the club moving hard to escape drop at the end of the season.
Adule is the fifth Nigerian competing in the Spanish elite division after Asisat Oshoala, Rita Chikwelu, Chidinma Okeke and Toni Payne.
Adule started her career with the Rivers Angels and debuted at 14 years old at the Women Challenge Cup 2006. Her professional debut was against Pelican Stars, which she later described as the most memorable match of her career. She scored, and Rivers Angels placed third overall in the competition.
