The Director of Grassroots Sports Development, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ademola Are has resolved the issues that led to Taekwondo kickoff delay
Earlier this morning, there was communication gap between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Taekwondo Federation as the Technical Director Taekwondo Federation, Chika Chukwumerije who is in charge of the electronic gadgets that will be used for the game was not around.
Following the bridge of communication, Dr. Are had to wade in and bring the issue to rest,Taekwondo will now commence as schedule as the Technical Director of the Federation is already on his way to the Multipurpose Hall University of Ilorin where the event is scheduled to take place.
Dr. Are had spoken with three time Olympian, Chika Chukwumerije to come along with two other experts who will assist in handling the scoring boards and other gadgets.
