A Civil servant in Kogi state working with the Art and Council as a driver has died in the early hours of Sunday because of this inability to raise money to buy an inhaler. The man was asthmatic.
Family sources from 500 Housing unit where he reside until his death this morning had it that the deceased woke up this morning to offer his early morning Ramadan Islamic prayers and was caught up with the ashmatic struggle.
The deceased it was gathered could not help himself out as his inhaler had exhausted and could not purchase a new one which cost only five hundred naira only.
The deceased who served the state government fervently as a driver in government house Lokoja Until his recent posting from the place is among the thousands of civil servants owed for an upward of over twenty two months in salary arrears.
