Awka City Stadium has been confirmed by the NFF as venue for the 2023 Federation Cup quarter final match between Bendel Insurance and Sunshine Stars of Akure, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
Administration of football in the state has left to the national front burner since ex international, Chikelue Iloenyosi assumed office as chairman of the FA last July.
The Awka City Stadium is now home ground for Rangers NPFL matches and has been hosting Federation Cup matches, male and female, starting from the Round of 64.
It also hosted the NLO playoffs and the high profile Round of 16 clash between Heartland and Insurance.
