Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala will today join the team in Austria. Exclusivenews.com checks at the team’s camp revealed that the former African Player of the year, is still held up in Abuja.
The FC Barcelona Spain player is said to be awaiting her visa to the European country having not submitted her application when others did because of club assignments.
We further gathered that her application may have been granted and the visa issued to enable her travel on Friday morning to join the team in preparation for the FIFA Women World Cup holding in France later in June. Her not joining the team early enough is delaying the Coaches from releasing the final list of players for the tournament.
