The former Governorship Candidate in Edo State and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Gen. Charles Airhaivbere said he have absolute confidence in the Senator Abdullahi Adamu led National Working Committee in organizing a rancour free special presidential convention come 30th of this month.
Airhaivbere who played host to over 4000 House of Representatives aspirants under the platform of the All Progressives Congress across the country were at the Zeus Paradise hotel owned by him for their screening.
He said with the level of maturity and composure displayed by the aspirants and the screening panel put in place by the NWC clearly shown what to expect from the 30th /1st convention in Abuja.
“You see, people are running mouth already, but I can assure you that, with the level of display by those contesting and our national leaders, especially the national working committee as led by Senator Abdullahi Adamu, i can tell you that, we will have smooth, free and fair primaries that everyone will be proud of.
“I play host to 4000 aspirants in my hotel, they were screened there, i saw their maturity, composure, i was really proud of them. So, we don’t expect anything short of this in our special presidential convention this month ending.
” I also advise that all our presidential aspirants should carry on with their campaign in canvassing for party faithful support the way they are doing now, no insult, no abuse. I must commend them.”
