The Federal Government has described the qualification of the Super
Eagles for the AFCON semi-final stage as most inspiring and
commendable. It is now clear and safe to state that the winning streak
of the Super Eagles from the beginning of this tournament is not a
fluke. It is a testament of purposeful and resilient attitude of the
players to overcome their opponents including the Bafana Bafana of
South Africa.
Against this backdrop, the Permanent Secretary , Federal Ministry of
Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Olusade Adesola congratulated the
gallant Super Eagles and its Technical Team, urging them to remain
focused, discipline and with team spirit soar to the Final Stage of
the tournament to win once again.
