3rd CDS Armed Forces and Security Agencies half marathon championship tagged ‘ together we are’ will see multiple car owners emerging at the end of the championship.
Chairman local organising committee of 3rd CDS Armed forces and security agencies half marathon championship abuja 2019, Commondore Nuhu Bala stated that this year’s edition of half marathon tagged ‘together we are’ is meant to further cement the existing relationship between Armed Forces of Nigeria and other security agencies through sports.
The make up of the organising committee for the exercise are drawn from all the participating security agencies and Armed Forces of Nigeria including Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development ,FCT sports council and Athletics Federation of Nigeria
According to nuhu bala,the championship consists of 14 security agencies including the Armed Forces of Nigeria .
The half marathon is expected to cover a distance of 21.5km while the starting point for the regular marathoners is Public Servant institute at Dei Dei along Kubwa express way,the veterans is tipper garage along the same express way.
The winner for the first overall prize for male will go home with a Toyota yaris,2018 model while the overall team winner will go home with IVM G5 SUV,the winner of veterans category will be awarded with Hyundai Elantra car and consolation prizes for other participants
