Carl Academy and Football College Umuahia will award academic scholarship to 34 players that excelled during the recent football competition organized by the Academy.
The tournament which was for Primary Schools in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, will see the students enjoying scholarship to study at the academy beginning from the next academic session.
The Founder of the College, Pastor Emeka Inyama expressed delight in the qualities exhibited by the players, and said the Academy will take full responsibility of the exceptional players.
Pastor Inyama, said in future, the competition will be extended to other local government areas in the State. He further revealed that apart from the scholarship, that some others would be granted a reasonable discount on school fees as an assistance to their parents and to give back to society.
At Carl Academy and Football College Umuahia students combine both their academics and football career under a conducive and world class facilities. It was founded by the Chairman of Abia Warriors, Pastor Emeka Inyama.
