FCT FA Mourns Ben Agarry,Condoles Victoria Nlemigbo Over Mum’s Death

The Federal capital territory has been thrown into deep mourning following the death of former FCT FA chairman Ben Agarry and the mother of former FA board member,Barrister Victoria Nlemigbo.

The nation’s capital football governing body in a press release on Monday said they received with rude shock the news of the death of former FCT FA Chairman, Mr Ben Agarry.

Chairman, Federal Capital Territory Football Association, FCT FA, Mouktar Mohammed condoled with Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora over the death of decease who died after a brief illness.

In a condolence message by the Association’s media manager, Special Mr. Niyi Busari, in Abuja on Monday, Mouktar sympathised with the family and friends of the deceased.

The president, said, “he was passionate about the development of football and deeply committed to a Nigeria football that will attain her position in the comity of nations.

”It’s sad to lose such a hopeful, ebullient soul so soon.”

Ben Agarry was the Chairman, FCT FA between 2005 and 2006 pioneering the affair of football in the nation’s capital.

while still mourning the death of the former FA chairman ,the management also received the news of the death of Mrs Virginia Ogbeha,the mother of former board member of the association and a strong member of women advocacy group in the nation’s capital,Barr.Victoria Nlemigbo.

Ezi Nne Virginia died on Sunday 9th August, 2020 at 84 in Onicha Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo state.

In a condolence statement by the Chairman, FCT FA, Mohammed Mouktar said that the mother of the former Board member of the Association lived to encourage and inspire many on faith in God, demonstrating love, kindness and generosity through focus on helping the underprivileged and counselling many.

The Chairman prayed that her soul of will find rest in God.
