With the widespread attack by COVID-19 on the globe, and several attempts by various governments, entities and good spirited individuals from the private sector to combat the scourge, Technical Adviser of Kano Pillars FC, coach Ibrahim Musa has commended the Abdullahi Ganduje led Government for taking proactive steps to prevent the dreaded virus from making its way into Kano State.

In a chat with exclusivenews.com, the 2019 Aiteo Cup winning coach stated that though no confirmed cases have been reported in the state yet, the government should be applauded for taking several measures to ensure positive response from the state should there be any reported cases.

“Our state government has done very well in making sure that the dreaded COVID-19 does not survive in Kano, said coach Musa,

“The closure of all entry and exits points in the state, alongside creation of isolation centers is a good step in the right direction, and shows the government would stop at nothing to ensure the safety of lives of its citizens.

“We’re indeed pleased with the steps taken by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje to ensure lives of the average citizens of the state are safeguarded health wise.

Recalled that the Kano State government announced the Sani Abacha Stadium as the state’s isolation center to curb the spread of the virus, in addition to providing emergency hotlines for citizens to call if they feel unwell or suspect any case of the disease in any part of the state.
