Chinese Super League to Use Only Two Venues

The 2020 season of the Chinese Super League is set to kick off later in the month, after a long break due to the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, gathers.

The top-flight league is also expected to be played in only two venues, bearing safety measures amongst others in curtailing the spread of the virus which is currently ravaging the world.

A statement by the League body this morning said: “The 2020 season of the Chinese Super League (CSL) will begin on July 25, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) announced Wednesday.

“The 2020 CSL campaign had been due to start on February 22 but was delayed because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

“All league matches for the 2020 season will be played in Dalian and Suzhou under strict epidemic containment measures, said the CFA.
