Appreciate me now, when I dey alive! No be say when I leave this life You go dey fake am for my back! These are the words of Professor Idemudia Osakpolor, a Professor of History while celebrating Augustine Eboigbe a young philanthropist that has contributed immensely and selflessly in assisting those genuinely in need of assistance, from paying school fees for indigent students, to sponsoring spelling bees for primary school pupils, and engaging in charity work, his work stands him head and shoulders tall above his peers.
Austin – as he is fondly called – is a quintessential gentleman of uncommon candor and poise. He is not only hard-working, but also committed to the growth and development of the grassroots in both his local, residential community and the Nation at large.

Born on the 22nd day of August into the prestigious lineage of late Chief Ernest Eboigbe, the young Augustine had his primary, secondary and tertiary education in Benin City, Edo State. A seasoned administrator with a degree spanning in urban and regional planning, International studies and diplomacy from Benson Idahosa University. He proceeded to acquire a masters degree in history from the prestigious University of Benin amongst other certifications.

Austin, no doubt, according to Professor Osakpolor is a high flyer and hard worker. His efficiency personification and the quintessence of diligence combined with humility has always seen him through all hurdles.

It is interesting to note that he literally saw himself through school by engaging in a part time business to raise funds. Despite his extracurricular activities and other distractions, he still pursued his academic goal with phlegethon graduating with honors all through.

Austin is a public affairs analyst as evident in his continuous appearances on multiple electronic media programs across Edo State and Nigeria in particular. He’s known to fearlessly and intellectually lend his voice to burning typical issues affecting the country, thus proffering solutions to Nations states objectively as well as indulging in robust debates as it affects security, government functionaries  regardless of whose ox is gored.

As a philanthropist he has contributed immensely and selflessly in assisting those genuinely in need of assistance, from paying school fees for indigent students, to sponsoring spelling bees for primary school pupils, and engaging in charity work, his work stands him head and shoulders tall above his peers.

As an entrepreneur, Eboigbe ventured into the world of business at a very young age and tried his hands at a mishmash of business activities including but not limited to importations, consulting, construction, data analysis and management to mention but a few. A managerial expert whose business acumen and nous have seen him emerged successfully from virtually every endeavor to which he’s put the plough.

Being a very suave, urbane gentleman and having excelled at virtually everything to which he has ventured into, he observed that a lot of things were dysfunctional in his community, Nations state and being someone who never engages in dereliction of duty, he decided it was time to make a change, this signaled his entry into politics.

Though politics is believed to be murky, his intrepidity and savvy ensured he became a very valuable member of the APC in Edo State. Indeed his journey is still in its infancy but the sky is the starting point for this rising star of Edo politics.

Mr Eboigbe is married to a very lovely wife and together they have been blessed with 3 scrumptious kids.

Indeed as you mark your birthday, there is no better way to say Happy Birthday to you than to recall the lyrics of the earlier  aforementioned song not only to celebrate you, but to sing that “Augustine Eboigbe, you be a big name!”
The above lyrical verse from the hit song “Celebrate Me” sung by a Nigerian A-List dancehall  artiste Patoranking usually plays with people moving their bodies to various dance patterns as they enjoy the rhythm. The analogy of the music inferences is an apts description to Mr. Augustine Eboigbe conception on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.

Happy birthday and many more years to come
